St. Timothy parish School will be holding its 1st Annual Walkathon on Monday, March 31, 2003. This year's theme is "Walk for Technology." Proceeds from this event will go towards the enhancement of technology throughout the school as well as the purchase of brand new computers and other equipment for our Media Center.

This event will take place on campus through our P.E. classes and all of our children will be participating.  Each child will be responsible for obtaining a minimum donation of $20.00 and encouraged to exceed that number.  Prizes will be awarded to the top person and top class and teacher in each of the following categories:  PK-K, 1-2, 3-5, and 6-8.  We are also working on a special drawing for those who exceed $100.00 donation.

At this time, we are looking for volunteers, businesses and individuals who can sponsor the event with donations of $50.00 and up and donations of T.V’s, VCR’s, Walkman’s, Movie tickets, DVD’s, Gift Certificates, etc.  We are also looking for refreshments and snacks to give the kids once they’ve finished their walk.  If you are interested in assisting or can obtain any of the above sponsorship and/or donation, please contact Mr. Jean at ext. 250.  We need your support to make this event a successful one.
